HAVRE, Mont. – The MSU-Northern Skylights rolled past the Keyano College(Alberta) Hawks 74-55 Thursday night at the Armory Gymnasium.
Neither team could gain control of an intensely played first quarter. The Hawks Zera Panesa hit a three to take a 21-20 lead.The Skylights took control in the second quarter and used a 7-2 run to end the half with a 38-29 lead.
Northern maintained control in the second half as they gradually pulled away. By the fourth quarter, the Skylights had stretched their lead to as many 20 points.
Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Shyan Krass with a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds. Briuanna McCullough and Jalen Callender added 16 points each. McCullough recorded eght rebounds. Ryley Kehr added 11 points and seven assists.
The Hawks were led by Panesa with 20 points going 7-16 from the field. Joy Victor and Jaylynn Twinn added 11 points each. Tiwnn led the team in rebounds with seven.
Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot 52 percent from the field, 23 percent from the arc, and 62 percent from the free throw line.
The Hawks shot 35 percentage from the field, 28 percent from the 3-point line, and 47 percent from the free throw.

The Skylights are 5-8 in the overall season and 0-2 in Conference.
