HELENA, Mont. – No. 17 ranked Rocky Mountain (Mont.) swept the final 2025 calendar year Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball weekly awards, the ninth edition of the weekly basketball honors were announced Monday.
The tenth edition of the basketball weekly awards will return on Monday, Jan. 5. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Frontier Conference.
Offensive Player of the Week: Brenna Linse, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Linse, a senior forward from Billings, Mont., was selected as the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.
She recorded two different career-highs marks in Arizona, most notably a 32-point outburst in No. 17 Rocky Mountain’s (Mont.) 89-86 victory over Olivet Nazarene (Ill.). She was 13-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line in the game. She also grabbed five offensive rebounds and dished out three assists.
Linse scored her first career-high of 27 points on her 12-of-15 shooting from the field, despite RMC’s 68-64 setback at Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.).
For the week, Linse averaged 24.7 points, 4.0 offensive rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. She shot an impressive 72.1 percent from the field (31-of-43 field goals) and hit 12-of-19 free-throws.
This is Linse’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
Defensive Player of the Week: Isabelle Heggem, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Heggem, a sophomore forward from Winifred, Mont., was selected as the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. It is the second consecutive week that she has received the conference weekly award.
Heggem averaged 9.3 defensive rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game as No. 17 ranked Rocky Mountain (Mont.) went 1-2 record in Arizona.
She pulled down a pair of 11 rebounds games at Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.) and versus Olivet Nazarene (Ill.). She recorded four blocks in the game versus Benedictine-Mesa and versus ONU.
Heggem added two blocks for RMC in a contest versus No. 5 ranked Marian (Ind.). She tallied three steals and two blocks in Battlin’ Bears’ 89-86 win over Olivet Nazarene (Ill.).
This is Heggem’s fifth career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
