HELENA, Mont. – Bellevue’s (Neb.) trio was listed on the 12
th edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Volleyball Players-of-the-Week honors, announced Monday by the conference office.
Next Monday (Nov. 10) will be the final edition of the conference weekly’s honors in women’s volleyball, preparing for the Frontier Conference postseason tournament on Nov. 13-15 in Helena.
Attacker of the Week: Kealy Kiviniemi, Bellevue (Neb.)
Kiviniemi, a senior right side from Bellevue, Neb., was chosen as the Attacker of the Week.
She helped lead No. 7 ranked Bellevue (Neb.) to a five-set upset over No. 1 ranked Providence (Mont.), snapping the Argos’ 25-match winning streak. She slammed 17 kills (3.40 kills per set) on .300 hitting percentage in the match. She also added four blocks.
Kiviniemi tallied 10 kills (3.33 kills per set) in BU’s 3-0 sweep over (RV) Montana State-Northern.
For the week, she averaged 3.38 kills per set and hit .317. She also collected five blocks.
This is Kiviniemi’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Setter of the Week: Mila Aiwohi, Bellevue (Neb.)
Aiwohi, a junior setter/defensive specialist from Eve Beach, Hawaii, was named Setter of the Week.
She averaged 7.13 set assists per set in No. 7 Bruins’ two victories, including a five-set upset victory over No. 1 Providence (Mont.). She recorded a double-double with 32 assists (6.40 assists per set) and 11 digs in the match.
Aiwohi added 25 set assists (8.33 assists) in BU’s 3-0 home sweep over (RV) Montana State-Northern. She racked up 57 assists for the week.
This is Aiwohi’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Defender of the Week: Eve Fountain, Bellevue (Neb.)
Fountain, a senior outside hitter from Omaha, Neb., was selected as the Defender of the Week.
She recorded her team-leading 10
th and 11
th double-doubles of the season as No. 7 Bellevue (Neb.) closed their home schedule with a 2-0 record. She hit a career-high 28 digs (5.60 digs per set) and added five blocks (1.0 blocks per set) in BU’s five-set upset victory over No. 1 ranked Providence (Mont.).
Fountain tallied 10 digs and four blocks in Bellevue’s 3-0 sweep over (RV) Montana State-Northern. For the week, she totaled 38 digs (4.75 digs per set) and nine blocks (1.13 blocks per set).
This is Fountain’s fourth career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
