KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Providence (Mont.) makes new history, reaching as high as No. 3 ranking in the third edition of the 2025 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 national poll.  The national poll was announced Wednesday, as Bellevue (Neb.) remains inside the NAIA’s Top 10.  Carroll (Mont.) joined the NAIA’s Top 25 national poll at No. 24.

Montana Tech fell out of the Top 25 poll, listing in the receiving votes section with Dakota State (S.D.)

Providence (Mont.) rose one spot from No. 4 to No. 3 with 475 points and an overall record of 16-1.  The Frontier Conference leader’s Argos are currently on a 15-match winning streak (11 of those 13 matches were won in straight sets), with the last loss coming at the hands of current No. 1 Eastern Oregon.  UP is 9-0 record in the league.

Bellevue (Neb.) dropped three spots from No. 5 to No. 8 with 11-3 overall record.  The Bruins tallied 412 points in the national poll.  BU is currently 6-0 record on their home court

Carroll (Mont.) cracked inside the NAIA’s Top 25 national poll at No. 24 with 84 points, highlighted by defeating then No. 19 ranked Montana Tech in three straight sets.  The Fighting Saints closed their four-match Frontier Conference home stand undefeated, lifting their overall record to 11-6.

Montana Tech fell out of the NAIA’s Top 25 national poll, listing at No. 26 in the receiving votes (RV) section with 55 points.  The Orediggers are 10-5 overall record prior to the conference matches this weekend. 

Dakota State (S.D.) was also listed in the receiving votes section with 15 points.  The Trojans are 9-5 overall record, including a 3-0 home victory over then No. 19-ranked Montana Tech.

The Frontier Conference volleyball wraps up their first half portion of the conference schedule this week and starts the second half next week.
