KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Frontier Conference women’s volleyball teams received national recognition in the 2026 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, announced Wednesday afternoon by the national office.

Providence (Mont.) leads the Frontier contingent at No. 6, followed by Bellevue (Neb.) at No. 8. Montana Tech also received votes (RV) in the preseason national poll.

Providence maintained its No. 6 ranking after completing an impressive 2025 campaign with a 34-3 overall record. The Argos advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship before falling to Concordia (Neb.). UP returns 10 players while welcoming 12 newcomers to its 2026 roster after losing six key contributors, including two All-Americans and the NAIA Setter of the Year.

The Argos open their 2026 season Aug. 14 in Hawaii against Indiana Tech.

Bellevue enters the season ranked eighth nationally after posting a 29-5 record in 2025. The Bruins also reached the quarterfinals of last year’s NAIA National Championship, where their season ended against eventual national runner-up Northwestern (Iowa).

Bellevue returns 14 letterwinners and three starters from last season’s squad. The Bruins begin their season Aug. 21 at the Onset Invitational in Fort Wayne, Ind., taking on Indiana Tech.

Montana Tech received votes outside the Top 25, giving the Frontier Conference three programs recognized in the preseason national poll.

The 2026 NAIA women’s volleyball season begins Friday (Aug. 14).
