HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference hosted their annual virtual media day with women’s volleyball this week, presented by IMA Financial.  Dr. Scott Crawford, FC’s Commissioner, and emcee Rocky Erickson joined 12 women’s volleyball coaches and their top returners to talk about their upcoming season.

The Frontier Conference Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Preseason Poll will be announced Monday (Aug. 10).  The NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 national poll will be released on Wednesday (Aug. 12). 

The NAIA women’s volleyball season gets underway next Friday (Aug. 14).  Carroll (Mont.) and Montana Tech will take part in the Tigers Kickoff Invitational in Bourbonnais, Ill.; Montana Western and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) will be playing in the Our Lady of the Lakes Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, and Dakota State (S.D.) and Providence (Mont.) are scheduled to participate in the Paradises Volleyball Classic in Hawaii.

The 22-match Frontier Conference volleyball season gets underway on the first week of September, starting with Rocky Mountain and Carroll in Helena on Sept. 1.

The top eight teams will advance to the Frontier Conference Women’s Volleyball Postseason Tournament on Nov. 12-14, hosted by Carroll at PE Center in Helena.
