Weather Suspends Round One of the NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship; Reduced to a 54-Hole Event Resuming Wednesday Morning 5/19/2026 5:56:00 PM | By: Brandon Stinson, Rocky Mountain College Sports Information Director Share: May 19, 2026 YPSILANTI, Mich.- Rocky Women's Golf had its day end before it began at the NAIA Championships, as weather suspended the first round of play at Eagle Crest GC. Tuesday's first round saw two separate weather delays, the second ultimately suspending play. The Battlin' Bears had just one player tee off and complete a hole before play was halted. Rocky will resume Round One on Wednesday at 7:00 am (MT) / 9:00 am (ET) on Hole One. Due to the delay, the championship has been shortened to a 54-hole event. The second round is scheduled to begin Thursday morning. Following 36 holes of competition, the field will be reduced to the top 15 teams, plus ties, along with the top six individuals not on an advancing team, plus ties, for the final round of play on Friday.
