KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rocky Mountain (Mont.) was ranked in the 2026-27 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Preseason Poll, announced by the national office Friday (Aug. 21).

The Battlin’ Bears are in a two-way tie for No. 25 ranking with Coastal Georgia, each collecting 81 points to the national poll.

Rocky Mountain was the preseason favorite to repeat the conference title for the sixth consecutive year.  The 2026-27 Frontier Conference Women’s Golf Championship will return to Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz., with the dates to be announced later.

The Preseason edition of the 2026-27 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 is the first of three fall ratings in 2026, the next two on Oct. 16 and Oct. 30, with four more spring ratings beginning April 2, culminating with the final rating on May 13 to determine the at-large selections for the 2027 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship in Dalton, Ga.
