MT and CC receive tenth edition of Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Golfers-of-the-Week awards

HELENA, Mont. – The 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Golfers-of-the-Week were announced Tuesday.  Carroll (Mont.) and Montana Tech were listed on the tenth edition of golf weekly honors.

Men's Golfer of the Week: Tyler Avery, Montana Tech

Avery, a junior from Kalispell, Mont., was selected as the Men’s Golfer of the Week.

Avery led the way for Montana Tech’s men at the Columbia Basin Invitational.  He finished tied for sixth on a tough course in incredibly challenging conditions.  He shot 81 strokes in the first round and fired the second round of 74 strokes. 

He finished the third round of 77 strokes to finish 232 total strokes in the tournament. 

This is Avery’s second Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
 
Women's Golfer of the Week: Addison Slivinski, Carroll (Mont.)

Slivinski, a freshman from Montpelier, Idaho, was selected as the Women’s Golfer of the Week.

Slivinski became the first freshman to ever take individual medalist in program history for Carroll (Mont.).  She picked up the program’s first individual title since 2013 with her win at the Columbia Basin College Invitational. 

The freshman sat one stroke back after 36 holes and was solid over her final nine holes of the day to win by two shots in just her sixth collegiate tournament.  Slivinski finished three rounds with 259 total strokes (88-85-86).

This is Slivinski’s second Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
