RMC's sweeps final edition of Golfers-of-the-Week honors (McDonagh - Men's; Metcalf - Women's)

HELENA, Mont. – Rocky Mountain (Mont.) took the final installment (No. 12 edition) of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Golfers-of-the-Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.
The 2026 Frontier Conference Golf Conference Championships are set for next week in Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz. They will start with the practice round on Monday, followed by a couple of days of competition on April 28-29.
Bellevue (Neb.), Carroll (Mont.), Dickinson State (N.D.), Mayville State (N.D.), Montana Tech, Providence (Mont.), Rocky Mountain, and Valley City State (N.D.) are scheduled to compete in the conference tournament.
Men's Golfer of the Week: Aidan McDonagh, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
McDonagh, a senior from Melbourne, Australia, was selected as the Men’s Golfer of the Week.
McDonagh fired an outstanding second round of seven-under-par to total tournament score of four-under-par 212 at the Music City Classic in Tennessee for Rocky Mountain (Mont.).
He posted the first-round score of 75 (3-over-par) and fired a second round of 65 (7-under-par). McDonagh finished the tournament with a third-round score of 72 (even-par).
A total of 105 golfers competed in the tournament.
This is McDonagh’s fifth Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
Women's Golfer of the Week: Grace Metcalf, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Metcalf, a senior from Arlington, Wash., was selected as the Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Metcalf turned into a consistent effort at the Music City Classic for Rocky Mountain (Mont.) finishing tied for 13
th overall against a strong field of ranked competition (105 total golfers).
She fired an even round of 72 in the first round, followed by second round of 76 (4-over-par), and third round of 75 (3-over-par). Metcalf finished the tournament with 7-over-par 223 strokes.
This is Metcalf’s sixth Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
