HELENA, Mont. – Mayville State (N.D.) and Bellevue (Neb.) were listed on the seventh installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Baseball weekly honors, announced by the conference office Monday.
Pitcher of the Week: Sebastian Mizener, Mayville State (N.D.)
Mizener, a junior pitcher Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, was named the Pitcher-of-the-Week.
Mizener threw a no-hitter as Mayville State (N.D.) closed the Frontier Conference season opening weekend at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, S.D., with a 2-2 record after a 2-0 shutout victory over Dakota State (S.D.).
He threw a complete game, 7 innings, and recorded five strikeouts. Mizener did not issue a walk in the game.
This is Mizener’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Player of the Week: Carter Claerhout, Bellevue (Neb.)
Claerhout, a senior first baseman from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, was named the Player-of-the-Week.
Claerhout had a pair of multi-hit games as No. 4 ranked Bellevue (Neb.) went 4-0 record to open the Frontier Conference baseball season at the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, S.D. He registered a batting average of .500, an on-base percentage of .647, and a slugging percentage of .800.
He drew at least one walk in all four games and logged a pair of extra-base hits. Claerhout drove in a team-high five runs on the weekend. He collected 38 total chances defensively, with 36 put-outs and one assist.
This is Claerhout’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
