HELENA, Mont. – Carroll (Mont.) and Bismarck State (N.D.) were listed on the seventh installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Track & Field weekly honors, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week:  Carson Krack, Carroll (Mont.) Krack, a sophomore from Whitefish, Mont., was named the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.

He set three personal records (shot put, pole vault, and 60-meter hurdles) and one season best (high jump) across seven events en route to an overall lifetime best in the heptathlon at the Riverfront Invitational and Multi’s for Carroll (Mont.). 

Krack put together a total of 5,400 points to earn a runner-up honor in the meet that featured competitors from NCAA Division I and II.  He leads the Frontier Conference’s heptathlon and ranks second in the NAIA.

This is Krack’s second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week.

Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Connor Ensign, Bismarck State (N.D.) Ensign, a freshman from Bismarck, N.D. was selected to Track Athlete-of-the-Week.

He was part of the distance medley relay team that set a new Bismarck State (N.D.) school record and qualified for the NAIA nationals with ‘B’ provisional qualifying mark.  They won the relay title with a time of 10 minutes, 14.62 seconds at the NCAA Division I North Dakota State Bison Open.  The converted time is 10 minutes, 6.39 seconds, which ranks fourth in the NAIA.

Ensign ran in the 1-mile run the following day where he set a new school record of 4:18.42, finishing fifth.  He is third in the Frontier Conference’s 1-mile run with a converted time of 4:14.18.

This is Ensign’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week honor.
