KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four Frontier Conference teams are listed on the fourth installment of the 2025-26 NAIA Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 national poll, the national office announced Wednesday morning.

Montana Tech jumped four spots from No. 19 to No. 15 in the latest edition of the national poll.  The Orediggers extended their winning streak to six games after earning a weekend sweep over Providence (Mont.) and MSU-Northern, lifting their overall record to 14-3.

MT is tied for fourth in the Frontier Conference standings with 8-3 conference record with Dakota State (S.D.).  The Orediggers head on the road at DaSU Friday and at Bellevue (Neb.) Saturday.

Rocky Mountain (Mont.) gained more votes in the receiving votes (RV) section with 49 points, ranking at No. 28.  The Battlin’ Bears are undefeated this month with 4-0 record after sweeping Valley City State (N.D.) and Mayville State (N.D.) last weekend in the Frontier Conference play. 

RMC is 14-3 overall record prior to this weekend’s games at MSU-Northern and Providence.

Carroll (Mont.) fell out of the NAIA’s Top 25 national poll and listed in the receiving votes section with 23 points.  The Fighting Saints holds the Frontier Conference lead with 10-1 record after earning their weekend sweep over MSU and VCSU. 

CC is 12-4 overall record before heading on the road at MSU-N and UP.

Montana Western also listed in the receiving votes section with two points.  The Bulldogs are currently on a six-game winning streak before this weekend’s contests at BU and DaSU.

UMW held on to defeat MSU-Northern last Friday and Providence last Saturday to lift their overall record to 14-3.

Rocky Mountain and Montana Western, along with Bellevue are tied for second in the Frontier Conference standings with 9-2 record.

The fifth edition of the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 national poll is set for Jan. 28.
