HELENA, Mont.  – Bellevue (Neb.), Providence (Mont.), and Valley City State (N.D.) were selected to the fifth edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Volleyball Players-of-the-Week.  The conference announced the volleyball weekly honors Monday.

Attacker of the Week: Eve Fountain, Bellevue (Neb.) Fountain, a senior outside hitter from Omaha, Neb., was chosen as the Attacker of the Week.

She hit .381 for the week as No. 3 ranked Bellevue (Neb.) went 3-0 record, including victories over No. 24 ranked Dakota State (S.D.), Rocky Mountain (Mont.), and (RV) Carroll (Mont.).  She posted double-doubles in both wins over NAIA’s Top 25/RV teams.

For the week, Fountain averaged 3.9 kills per set (31 total kills), totaled 32 digs (4.0 digs per set), and registered five blocks for the Bruins.  She also had three set assists.

This is Fountain’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Setter of the Week: Bella Thompson, Providence (Mont.) Thompson, a senior setter from Kapahulu, Oahu, was named as the Setter of the Week for the third consecutive week.

She racked up 123 set assists and averaged 12.3 assists per set as No. 5 ranked Argos went 3-0 record for the week in Frontier Conference play.  She posted double-doubles in the first two matches during the week. 

Thompson added nine blocks, four service aces, and three kills during the week for Providence.  She averaged 2.9 digs per set (29 total digs).

This is Thompson’s 14^th career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defender of the Week: JayCee Richter, Valley City State (N.D.) Richter, a senior from Linton, Mont., was selected as the Defender of the Week.

She averaged more than 6.0 digs per set for (RV) Valley City State (N.D.) in a pair of matches over MSU-Northern and No. 5 ranked Providence (Mont.).  She collected 25 digs (6.25 digs per set) versus MSU-N, followed by 19 digs (6.33 digs per set) versus UP.

Richter is currently eighth on the all-time list for career digs at VCSU.  She currently leads the Frontier Conference with 6.1 digs per set.

This is Richter’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
