HELENA, Mont. – Montana Tech and Rocky Mountain were listed on the sixth edition of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Outdoor Track & Field weekly honors Tuesday.
Outdoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week: Abby Clark, Montana Tech
Clark, a senior from Fort Benton, Mont., was selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.
She won the Frontier Conference outdoor heptathlon title for the fourth consecutive year. She racked up a total of 4,902 points for the Orediggers at the Trudnowski Open.
Clark is currently ranked second in the NAIA women’s heptathlon as of Tuesday. The top 16 heptathlon marks by the end of the regular season will compete at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Marion, Ind., on May 21-23.
Outdoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Grace Timm, Rocky Mountain
Timm, a senior from Laurel, Mont., was chosen as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
She ran a personal best and Rocky Mountain’s program record in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Dickinson State (N.D.) Blue Hawks Games. Timm secured her second career qualifying mark in the steeplechase.
She captured the 3000-meter steeplechase title at the meet, clocking the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying time of 11 minutes, 9.64 seconds. Timm’s time is ranked fifth in the NAIA women’s 3000-meter steeplechase as of Tuesday.
