2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship concludes Friday

MARION, Ind. – The three-day U.S. Marines NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship at Wildcat Classic, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan, officially concluded Friday.  Four Frontier conference schools scored in the meet, ending the 2025 outdoor track & field season.

Four athletes were in action on the final day of the outdoor track & field national meet.

Carroll’s Madalen Shipman earned the NAIA All-America status in the 800-meter run.  She clocked a career best time of 2 minutes, 11.53 seconds to place fifth in the national final.

Grace Timm of Rocky Mountain ran in the 3000-meter steeplechase, finishing 12th with a time of 11 minutes, 16.93 seconds. 

Abby Clark cleared a mark of 1.61 meters (5 feet, 3.5 inches) to earn a tie for 14th place in the high jump for Montana Tech.

Lauren Cima closed the national meet with 40.50 meters (132 feet, 10 inches), finishing 21st in the discus for Providence.

The Orediggers and Argos finished in a tie for 31st place in the women’s team standings with eight points each (with Valley City State, N.D. and Midland, Neb.).  The Fighting Saints scored four points (tied for 51st with Warner, Loyola, Morningside, Cornerstone, and host-team Indiana Wesleyan).  The Battlin’ Bears scored one point in the national meet.
