November 25, 2025

HELENA, Mont. – The 2025 Frontier Conference announces its Football West Division Champions of Character recipients Tuesday.  The Champion of Character award is presented by conference partner WinWon Technologies.

The head coach from each Frontier Conference member selects the recipient that fits to the NAIA’s Champions of Character initiative program’s five cores that include integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

The mission of the NAIA’s Champions of Character program is to provide training to instill the values that build character so that students, coaches, and parents know, do, and value the right thing on and off the field.

The Champions of Character program helps participants find balance by keeping the five core values – integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership – at the heart of the athletics experience.  In the NAIA, we strive to be The Right Way To Play!

Below are the recipients of the Champion of Character Award:

Arizona Christian University

“Elijah has been a 4-year football student athlete for the Arizona Christian University Firestorm.  He has exemplified the NAIA's five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.  He has been involved in many activities on campus and throughout the community, such as RAM, a local foster care group, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a local non-profit that builds children's beds, as well as his local church involvement.  Elijah does all this while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being a member of the football program’s leadership council.”
