HELENA, Mont. – Dakota State (S.D.), Montana Tech, and College of Idaho were listed on the first edition of the 2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week
Tray Hettick, Dakota State (S.D.)
Quarterback I Senior I Selby, S.D.
Hettick, a senior quarterback from Selby, S.D., is the Offensive Player of the Week.
Hettick delivered a career performance after completing 23-of-32 passes (71.9 percent) for a career-high 429 yards and five touchdowns, leading No. 25 ranked Dakota State (S.D.) to a 35-27 victory over Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) and helping the Trojans reclaim the Chamber of Commerce Traveling Trophy.
Hettick's 429 passing yards rank fourth on Dakota State's single-game record list, while his five touchdown passes are tied for fourth-most in a game in program history. He averaged 13.4 yards per attempt and connected with four different receivers for touchdowns, including Melek Ford twice. His longest completion was a 64-yard strike to Ford during DSU's opening touchdown drive.
This is Hettick’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week
Asher Feddes, Montana Tech
Linebacker I Sophomore I Belgrade, Mont.
Feddes, a sophomore linebacker from Belgrade, Mont., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
Feddes helped No. 5 Montana Tech post a dominant 48-0 shutout of (RV) Ottawa (Ariz.) in their season home opener. Feddes recorded six tackles (three solos, three assists), one tackle for loss, a half-sack and an interception.
Feddes’ interception came on the first play of the third quarter and helped ignite a stretch in which the Orediggers scored two touchdowns in five minutes to break the game open. His performance helped MT’s defense limit Ottawa to just 117 total yards and eight first downs in the shutout victory.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Josh Horn, College of Idaho
Kicker/Punter I Junior I Boise, Idaho
Horn, a junior kicker/punter from Boise, Idaho, is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Horn had a strong all-around performance in No. 4 College of Idaho’s 37-7 season-opening victory at Eastern Oregon. Horn accounted for 13 points, converting all three field-goal attempts from 19, 32, and 36 yards and going a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points.
Horn also handled punting duties, averaging 46.0 yards on two punts, including a long of 51 yards. On kickoffs, he averaged 65.0 yards on two attempts with one touchback, and he added a solo tackle on a 56-yard kickoff return.
This is Horn’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
