HELENA, Mont. - Carroll College track and field travels to Pocatello, Idaho this weekend for the Stacy Dragila Invitational.
A larger group will compete Saturday with 17 men and 13 women entered. Multiple athletes will be vying for NAIA national qualifying standards including a top group of athletes in the men's 4x400-meter team competing together for the first time since early 2020.
On the women's side, Chloe Gallagher will look to improve on her B-Standard national qualifying mark in the pole vault. A large group of Saints look to qualify in the women's mile, and several sprinters (Brooklyn Schultz and Avery Tripp) will compete for the first time in a Carroll uniform.
Beyond the headlining relay, Carroll's nationally ranked heptathletes (Lee Walburn and Brett Glaser) will compete in multiple individual events for the men's squad. Patrick Keeley, Hunter Gregoire, Connor O'Hara, and Nate Gong will participate in their first indoor track meet for the Saints.
"We're excited to take a bigger team to the meet and to see some athletes out there competing for the first time this season," head coach Harry Clark said. "The NCAA Division I competition will give us a great opportunity for more athletes to qualify for nationals."
Field events begin at 10 a.m. MST on Saturday, and running events start at 11:15 a.m. MST. Full schedule and meet info are available at the following link:
