Rocky Indoor Track Competes at Bobcat Challenge

BOZEMAN, Mont., January 15, 2022- The Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears track and field team opened the indoorr season at the Bobcat Challenge hosted by Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont.

Sydney Little Light highlighted the meet for Rocky by winning the women's mile, with a time of 5:05.15, a qualifying A standard and a Rocky Mountain College school record.
 
Mei-Li Stevens placed fourth in the women's 3,000-meter, with a time of 11:30.9. Jackson Wilson won the men's 3,000-meter, with a time of 9:13.03.
 
Braden Tomlin placed second in the men's pole vault with a vault of 4.15 meters.
 
Elijah Barkell placed fourth in the men's weight throw, with a throw of 13.49 meters.
 
The Battlin' Bears travel to Spearfish, South Dakota to compete in the Dave Little Alumni Open on Friday January 21.
