HELENA, Mont. – Dickinson State (N.D.) swept the first edition of the 2026 Frontier Conference Golfers-of-the-Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Women’s Golfer of the Week
Brooklyn Materi – Dickinson State (N.D.)
Senior | Upton, Wyo.

Materi helped lead Dickinson State (N.D.) to the team championship at the NDGA College Tournament.  She finished fourth individually among 29 golfers, carding rounds of 81 and 77 for a two-round total of 158 strokes. 

Her top-five performance helped the Blue Hawks capture the team title in a five-team field and open the 2026 fall season with a tournament victory.

This is Materi’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week honor.

Men’s Golfer of the Week
Griffin Zimmer – Dickinson State (N.D.)
Freshman | Worden, Mont.

Zimmer placed third in a field of 56 golfers at the NDGA College Tournament for Dickinson State (N.D.).  He opened the tournament with 79 strokes before firing a 3-under-par 66 in the final round, vaulting himself into third place.

He finished the two-round tournament with 145 total strokes.  His final-round 66 was his first round of par or better during the season-opening tournament.

This is Zimmer’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week honor.
