2025-26 Frontier Conference Women's Golf Champions of Character recipients, presented by WinWon Technologies

HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference presented the 2025-26 Champions of Character recipients for women’s golf, presented by our partner WinWon Technologies. They were recognized at the conclusion of the conference tournament at Papago Club in Phoenix, Ariz., on April 29.

Head coaches were asked to select one student athlete per team he or she coaches to receive this prestigious award. The award recognizes student-athletes who best exemplify the five cores’ values of the NAIA Champions of Character initiative: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
On behalf of WinWon Technologies, the Frontier Conference is pleased to recognize eight exceptional student athletes from Frontier Conference golf members’ institution:
Bellevue (Neb.)
- Nellie Forsen: A freshman from Linkoping, Sweden, majoring in sports management. Her coach, Craig Marsh, comments: "Nellie Forssen exemplifies the core values of the NAIA Champions of Character initiative—integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership—through her consistent actions on and off the course. Her character and daily habits reflect the very essence of what the Champions of Character award seeks to recognize—a student-athlete who elevates those around her while representing her institution with pride and integrity."
Carroll (Mont.)
- Ellie Stastny: A sophomore from Murtaugh, Idaho, majoring in nursing. Her coach, Bennett Macintyre, states: "Ellie is a dedicated student, compassionate future healthcare hero who brings fresh energy to our team and college. She is eager to help others, is resilient, a hard worker both in the classroom and on the golf course. She volunteers to help at our local hospital and is always willing to help a fellow classmate or teammate."
Dickinson State (N.D.)
- Cheyenne Jacobs: A sophomore from Wauconda, Illinois, majoring in physical education and health education. Her coach, Thadd O’Donnell, says: "Cheyenne exemplifies the qualities of a true champion of character."
Mayville State (N.D.)
- Isabel Helde: A sophomore from Minot, North Dakota, majoring in business administration. According to her coach, John Murphy: "Isabel's service to the university and the golf program has been outstanding. She is always willing to help and always goes the extra mile on any task she completes."
Montana Tech
- Kodie Hoagland: A graduate student from Butte, Montana, majoring in occupation safety and health, and industrial hygiene. Her coach, David Starcevich, shares: "Throughout the year Kodie has provided strong leadership consistently. Being a role model for younger athletes by setting high standards and leading by example. Always keeping the golf team's best interests in mind by helping anywhere she can. I've been honored to see Kodie develop as an individual and move the needle of Montana Tech Women's Golf Team."
Providence (Mont.)
- Zoie Ceartin: A junior from Bozeman, Montana, majoring in business administration management. Her coach, Reece Zeigler, comments: "Zoie is a true Champion of Character, leading by example in everything they do. They compete with integrity, treat others with respect, and consistently put the team ahead of themselves. Whether in practice, competition, or the classroom, they show strong discipline, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way."
Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
- Alivia Webinger: A sophomore from Laurel, Montana, majoring in biology. Her coach, Nathan Bailey, says: "Alivia Webinger is our Champions of Character recipient, exemplifying what it means to be both a dedicated student and a strong leader. Her work ethic in the classroom is outstanding... Her leadership is evident in the way she supports, encourages, and elevates those around her, making her an invaluable presence both on and off the course."
Valley City State (N.D.)
- Sydney Carlson: A senior from Edgeley, North Dakota, majoring in business. Her coach, Collin Hoss, comments: "Sydney leads Viking women's golf with great composure on and off the golf course. She is an excellent example of what it takes to be a student athlete and helps those around her."
