HELENA, Mont.  – The Frontier Conference has named 80 student-athletes from eight (8) conference softball programs as Academic All-Conference, presented by Billings Clinic and Logan Health.

Mayville State (N.D.) led the way with 14 recipients on the academic honor list, followed by Carroll (Mont.) with 11 student-athletes, and Bellevue (Neb.) with 11 student-athletes.  Dakota State (S.D.) and Valley City State (N.D.) each added 10 recipients.  Providence (Mont.) and Dickinson State (N.D.) each registered eight student-athletes, while Bismarck State (N.D.) tallied seven recipients on the conference academic list.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (GPA).

The 2026 Frontier Conference Softball Postseason Tournament gets underway Thursday morning at 11 a.m. (CT)/10 a.m. (MT) with all teams playing the opening round.
