GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Wednesday the 2025-26 Academic All-America® women's basketball teams for NAIA, headlined by Dakota State's senior forward Tabor Teel on the First Team.

The NAIA Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 NAIA Academic All-America® program.

This is the second straight year that Teel was named to the CSC Women's Basketball Academic All-America® team, where she earned second team honor a season ago.

Teel completed one of the most impressive seasons for Dakota State, guiding the team to their second NAIA national semifinals in the previous four seasons.

She was named to NAIA Women's Basketball All-America First Team, Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Year, Frontier Conference All-Conference First Team, and scholar athlete awards nationally and conference-wise.

Teel posted one of the most historic season-season records in Dakota State women's basketball history, breaking records for the most points (606 points) and most rebounds (379 rebounds).  She was also second in single season record for field goals made with 235 field goals and tied for 10th in free-throws made with 99 free-throws.

She started in all 36 games for Dakota State, fueling the Trojans to their inaugural Frontier Conference regular season title.  Dakota State had won six straight conference regular season titles and played in the NAIA national tournament for six consecutive seasons.

Teel averaged 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season, as well as producing 21 double-doubles.

Dakota State finished their 2025-26 season with an overall record of 30-6, the most single season record wins.  The previous record was 29 wins during the 2022-23 season, where the squad went to their first NAIA national tournament's semifinals.

Teel ranks eighth in the DSU women's basketball scoring list with 1,396 career points since 2022.  She is also third all-time in rebounds with 893 rebounds and fifth all-time with 174 career blocks.  She is sixth all-time in field goals made with 537 field goals made.

Tabor is a native of Colton, S.D., and majors in business marketing at Dakota State University.
