RMC sweeps fourth installment of 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Cross Country Runners-of-the-Week

HELENA, Mont. – Rocky Mountain (Mont.) swept the fourth installment of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Cross Country Runners-of-the-Week awards, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Men's Runner of the Week: John Spinti, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)

Spinti, a sophomore from Great Falls, Mont., was selected as the Men’s Runner of the Week.

He earned a 12-second victory in the Dickinson State (N.D.) Blue Hawk Invitational, leading the 17th ranked Rocky Mountain to a commanding victory.  Spinti clocked a time of 25 minutes, 5.8 seconds in the 8K racecourse, featuring a total of 57 runners.

This is Spinti’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Men’s Cross Country weekly honor.

Women's Runner of the Week: Jayden Woodland, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)

Woodland, a senior from Three Forks, Mont., was named as the Women’s Runner of the Week.

She led the Battlin’ Bears women in the 6K with a second-place finish in the Dickinson State (N.D.) Blue Hawk Invitational.  Woodland crossed the finish line with a time of 22 minutes, 55.7 seconds in the 6K racecourse, which saw a total of 42 runners completed the race.

Her time is the third best 6K time in Rocky Mountain’s program history.

This is Woodland’s second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Women’s Cross Country weekly honor.
