DICKINSON, N.D. — Rocky Mountain (Mont.), the preseason favorite to win the Frontier Conference men’s golf title, ran away with the Frontier Conference Men’s Golf Meet #1. The Battlin’ Bears finished the first conference meet with an impressive three rounds score of 44-under par.
Bellevue was second with 25-under-par after three runs. RMC and BU were the only team that produced team scores of under-par. Montana Tech was third with 20-over-par, followed by Dickinson State (N.D.) fourth with 24-over-par.
The Fronter Conference Meet #1 was hosted by Dickinson State at Heart River Golf Course last week.

Individual Standouts
- Kristjan Burkelca (Rocky Mountain) fired rounds of 69, followed by back-to-back rounds of 65 to finish at 17-under par, capturing individual medalist honors.
- Bellevue’s Thomas Gatlin held steady throughout, carding consistent rounds of 68 to finish at 12-under par.
- Also from Bellevue, Dylan Rodgers recorded a pair round of 68, while shooting a round of 71 in the second round. He finished at 9-under-par.
- Rocky Mountain posted multiple individual top finishes with Sam Norman and Jared Smith tying for fourth at 8-under-par, and Tye Boone following close behind in sixth with 6-under-par.
