HELENA, Mont. – Rocky Mountain (Mont.) swept the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Golfers-of-the-Week honors after their performance at the conference meet #1, the fourth edition of the weekly honors were announced Wednesday morning.
Men's Golfer of the Week: Kristjan Burkelca, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Burkelca, a redshirt junior from Domzale, Slovenia, was selected as the Men’s Golfer of the Week.
He set a new Rocky Mountain program record, finishing 17-under par 199 to win the Frontier Conference Meet #1. The three rounds were hosted by Dickinson State (N.D.).
Burkelca shot 3-under-par 69 in the first round and fired a pair rounds of 7-under par 65. He helped the Battlin’ Bears to 19-stroke team victory.
This is Burkelca’s sixth Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
Women's Golfer of the Week: Grace Metcalf, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Metcalf, a senior from Arlington, Wash., was selected as the Women’s Golfer of the Week.
She tied for the second-best score in Rocky Mountain’s program history, totaling a four-under-par 140. She shot a pair of 70 (2-under-par) in each round to win the Frontier Conference Meet #1, hosted by Dickinson State (N.D.).
Metcalf led the 23
rd ranked RMC to the team title.
This is Metcalf’s third Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Golfer-of-the-Week honor.
