HELENA, Mont. – Dickinson State (N.D.) and Dakota State (S.D.) collected the second edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week, the conference office announced their weekly indoor track & field honors Tuesday

Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week:  Dylan Dahlgren, Dickinson State (N.D.) Dahlgren, a senior from Soldotna, Alaska, was named as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week for the second consecutive week.

He put a mark of 15.76 meters (51 feet, 8.5 inches) in the shot put at the NCAA Division II University of Mary (N.D.) Alumni Open for Dickinson State (N.D.), putting him atop the Frontier conference and No. 10 ranking in the NAIA.  He finished second in the event.

Dahlgren won the weight throw title of 18.45 meters (60 feet, 6.5 inches), hitting the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying mark.  His weight throw ranks second in the NAIA and leads the Frontier Conference.

This is Dahlgren’s second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week.

Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week: Mohamed Muse, Dakota State (S.D.) Muse, a sophomore from Sioux Falls, S.D., was selected as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.

He added another event to his national qualifying list for Dakota State (S.D.) at the Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) Snow Tiger Invitational.  He won two titles in the meet for the Trojans.

Muse was one of the anchors on the Trojan 4 x 800-meter relay that won the title in 7 minutes, 53.86 seconds, converting the time to 7 minutes, 47.18 seconds on the 200-meters course.  The time also produced the NAIA ‘B’ provisional qualifying time and currently leads the NAIA.

He captured the 400-meter dash title in 50.71 seconds.

This is Muse’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete-of-the-Week honor.
