Fighting Saints sweep tenth edition of 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week

HELENA, Mont. – Carroll (Mont.) swept the tenth edition of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office.

Offensive Player of the Week: Carson Ochoa, Carroll (Mont.)

Ochoa, a senior tight end from Yorba Linda, Calif., is the Offensive Player of the Week.

He was perhaps the most important piece in No. 8 ranked Carroll’s (Mont.) 41-40 road victory at Southern Oregon.  Ochoa hauled in a program-tying four touchdown passes, including a score with 56 seconds left to pull the Saints within one and set up the game-winning two-point conversion.

He posted team-highs with seven catches with 108 yards for Caroll.  He averaged 15.4 yards per catch.

This is Ochoa’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defensive Player of the Week: Braeden Orlandi, Carroll (Mont.)

Orlandi, a sophomore defensive back from Valley Springs, Calif., is the Defensive Player of the Week.

He led the 8th ranked Carroll’s (Mont.) defense in 41-40 road win at Southern Oregon.  Orlandi finished with a game-high 16 tackles and registered a half tackle-for-loss of one yard.

He recorded 10 solo tackles and six assist tackles in the game for the Saints.

This is Orlandi’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Connor Sullivan, Carroll (Mont.)

Sullivan, a junior wide receiver from Kalispell, Mont., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.

He was a key cog in No. 8 ranked Carroll’s (Mont.) 41-40 victory at Southern Oregon, giving the Saints good field position on nearly every kick-off return.

Sullivan finished with 233 yards on eight kick-off returns, including a 50-yard return to set up the ultimate game-winning scoring drive.  He averaged 29.1 yards per kick-off for the Saints.

This is Sullivan’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
