HELENA, Mont. – Carroll and Rocky Mountain kicked off the 2025 calendar year, receiving the tenth edition of the 2024-25 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Players-of-the-Week.  The weekly honors were announced Monday.

Offense of the Week:  Addi Ekstrom, Carroll Ekstrom, a senior guard from Bozeman, Mont., was selected as the Offense Player of the Week honor.

Ekstrom was outstanding in two victories for the 21^st Fighting Saints, averaging 20 points.  She scored 19 points in CC’s 65-61 victory over No. 5 Providence.  She also had five assists in the game.  She added 21 points in Carroll’s 87-44 victory over Keyano.

Ekstrom shot 60 percent from the field (15-of-25 field goals) for the week.  She knocked down five 3-pointers in both games and finished the week with 62.5 percent from the 3-point line.   

This is Ekstrom’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defense of the Week: Paige Wasson, Rocky Mountain Wasson, a freshman guard from Whitewater, Mont., was selected as the Defense Player of the Week honors

She tallied her second double-double of the season in (RV) Battlin’ Bears 56-35 home victory over (RV) Montana Tech.  She collected 11 rebounds (8 defense) and stole the ball four times in the game.

Wasson also registered a block in RMC’s lone contest for the week.

This is Wasson’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
