2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week No. 3

HELENA, Mont. - Eastern Oregon, Montana Tech and Dickinson State (N.D.) earned the latest Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week honors following their performances on Sept. 12.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kallen Gutridge, Eastern Oregon

Quarterback I Sophomore I Wilsonville, Ore.

Gutridge directed Eastern Oregon’s offense unit in the Mountaineers’ 51-17 road victory over Whitworth (Wash.). He completed 25-of-36 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with a 69.4 completion percentage and a 175.5 passing efficiency rating. 

Gutridge also contributed on the ground, rushing seven times for 39 yards and a touchdown. Gutridge accounted for 360 yards of total offense and five touchdowns as Eastern Oregon rolled to the 34-point victory.

This is Gutridge’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defensive Player of the Week
Kellan Beller, Montana Tech

Linebacker I Senior I Stevensville, Mont.

Beller helped anchor another dominant defensive performance by No. 5 Montana Tech as the Orediggers defeated No. 18 Montana Western 34-7 on the road. The victory kept Montana Tech unbeaten at 3-0. 

Beller recorded a team-high eight tackles, including five solo stops and three assists, and added his first interception of the season.

Beller’s performance helped the Orediggers hold the Bulldogs to their fewest points since 2012 while Montana Tech earned its first victory in Dillon since 2022.

This is Beller’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Nik Halvorson, Dickinson State (N.D.)

Kicker I Freshman I Bottineau, N.D.

Halvorson was perfect in the kicking game as Dickinson State (N.D.) secured a 44-13 home victory over Montana State-Northern.  He connected on all three of his field-goal attempts (27-, 33-, and 19-yard field goals) and was a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points, accounting for 14 points in the victory.

His longest field goal came from 33 yards as he converted every kicking opportunity he received. 

Halvorson also had eight kick-offs for 481 yards, averaging 60.1 yards per kick-offs.  His two kick-offs resulted in touchbacks. 

This is Halvorson’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
