Brandon Stinson of Rocky Mountain (Mont.) was selected to the Frontier Conference Sports Information Director of the Year for the second straight year.
The Frontier Conference Sports Information Director of the Year award recognizes excellence in athletic communications and honors individuals who demonstrate outstanding service to their institution, student-athletes, and the conference. Stinson's contributions have made a lasting impact throughout the Frontier Conference and make him a deserving recipient of this prestigious honor.
Stinson earned the recognition following an outstanding 2025-26 academic year marked by exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to promoting student-athletes and collegiate athletics.
Since joining Rocky Mountain College in July 2022, Stinson has served as the primary media contact for all 15 Battlin' Bears athletic programs. His responsibilities extend across virtually every aspect of athletic communications, including live video streaming, social media management, website administration, ticketing, statistical services, graphic design, photography, and game-day operations.
During 2025-26, Stinson contributed nationally as a member of the NAIA-SIDA Continuing Education Committee and as a voting member for NAIA National Players of the Week selections in cross country and outdoor track & field. Additionally, he serves as a co-chair of the Frontier Conference SID Advisory Committee.
Known for his professionalism, creativity, and servant leadership, Stinson has become one of the most respected communicators in the conference.
A native of Helena, Mont., Stinson earned his bachelor's degree from Montana State University before completing a master's degree in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University.
