Royce Robinson Named to the NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team 3/25/2026 2:25:00 PM | By: Brandon Stinson: Sports Information & Media Coordinator Share: KANSAS CITY, Mo.- After helping lead Rocky Men's Basketball to the NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals, redshirt sophomore Royce Robinson earned All-Tournament Team Honors, announced by the NAIA following Tuesday's National Championship game. In Rocky's two final site contests in Kansas City, Robinson averaged 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. As was the case all season, Robinson's impact spread beyond the box score, as the six-foot-five-inch wing drew challenging defensive assignments throughout. In Rocky's overtime victory over Bellevue in the Round of 16, Robinson played an impactful 44 minutes, including a game-tying layup at the end of regulation, and scored 14 of his game-high 24 points in the second half alone. In the Battlin' Bears' five-point defeat in the quarterfinals, Robinson had an all-around impact, totaling four steals, two blocks, five assists, six rebounds, along with 16 points from the field. Robinson becomes the first Battlin' Bear to receive All National Tournament honors since Rocky's 2009 National Championship season, where Devin Uskoski was named the Chuck Taylor Most Valuable Player and Nate Richardson earned the Charles Stevenson Hustle Award. He also becomes the first Frontier Conference student-athlete to earn such honors since 2019 and was the only underclassman honored on the All-Tournament team.
