HELENA, Mont. – Montana Western and Dakota State (S.D.) received the recognition on the 15
th installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Players-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Bailee Sayler, Montana Western
Sayler, a sophomore forward from Missoula, Mont., was selected as the Offensive Player-of-the-Week.
Sayler averaged 20.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game as Montana Western went 2-0 record at home for the week. She scored 20 points and dished out three assists in UMW’s 82-73 win over Bismarck State (N.D.).
She followed up with 21 points on her 8-of-13 field goals, including 3-of-6 from the 3-point line, in Bulldogs’ 80-56 win over Dickinson State (N.D.).
For the week, Sayler was 15-of-29 from the field (51.7 percent) and hit all six free throw attempts.
This is Sayler’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
Defensive Player of the Week: Tabor Teel, Dakota State (S.D.)
Teel, a senior forward from Colton, S.D., was selected as the Defensive Player-of-the-Week.
She continued to be a defensive force in fueling No. 7 Dakota State (S.D.) to a pair of Frontier Conference home victories, extending their winning streak to nine games. She averaged double-double for the weekend with wins over No. 23 Rocky Mountain (Mont.) and (RV) Carroll (Mont.).
Teel grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds (12 defensive rebounds) in DaSU’s 69-62 win over RMC. Her 18 rebounds tied for seventh most single-game rebounds in school history. She followed up with 13 rebounds, with 12 being defensive rebounds in Trojans’ 70-34 win over CC. The Trojans held Carroll to their season low in points (34) and limited them to 22.2 percent from the field.
For the week, Teel averaged 15.5 rebounds per game (12.0 defensive rebounds), 1.5 steals, and 1.0 block per game.
This is Teel’s seventh career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
