HELENA, Mont. – Dakota State (S.D.) and Bellevue (Neb.) were listed on the third edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Baseball weekly honors, announced by the conference office Monday. 

Pitcher of the Week: Austin Armstrong, Dakota State (S.D.) Armstrong, a sophomore pitcher from Great Falls, Mont., was named the Pitcher-of-the-Week.

Armstrong recorded his third save of the season as Dakota State (S.D.) split a doubleheader with Midland (Neb.). 

He tossed three shutout innings in relief and produced three strikeouts (9.0 K per nine innings) in Trojans’ 8-4 game two victory to earn a split.

This is Armstrong’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Player of the Week: Carter Claerhout, Bellevue (Neb.) Claerhout, a senior first baseman from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, was named the Player-of-the-Week.

Claerhout was an extra-base machine in No. 22 Bellevue’s (Neb.) doubleheader sweep at Briar Cliff (Iowa).  Four of his seven hits went for extra-bases, including his team-leading third home run in the opening.

He hit .875 (7-for-8) with a 2.514 OPS as the Bruins has now won six straight games to improve to 7-2 overall.

This is Claehout’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
