Bellevue (Neb.) ranks No. 7 in inaugural NAIA Women's Volleyball NSC Poll
October 7, 2026
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Frontier Conference was represented in the inaugural NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Selection Committee (NSC) Poll, released Wednesday by the national office.
Bellevue (Neb.) led the Frontier Conference at
No. 7 with a 15-2 overall record. The Bruins are the lone Frontier team ranked among the top 25 in the first NSC poll.
BU has won 12 consecutive matches prior to this weekend’s Frontier Conference action, kicking off the second half portion of the league schedule. Bellevue is undefeated in the Frontier Conference with an 11-0 record.
The poll differs from the traditional NAIA Women’s Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25. Members of the National Selection Committee submit individual ballots using several data points, including Ranking Percentage Index (RPI), Area Rating Committee (ARC) standings, overall record, strength of schedule and conference record. Those same metrics will be used in November when the committee determines at-large selections and seeding for the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship.
Eastern Oregon earned the top spot in the inaugural poll with a perfect 21-0 record. Northwestern (Iowa) followed at No. 2, Concordia (Neb.) was third, Morningside (Iowa) fourth and Corban (Ore.) fifth.
Aquinas (Mich.) checked in at No. 6, followed by Bellevue at No. 7, College of Idaho at No. 8, Missouri Baptist at No. 9 and St. Thomas (Fla.) at No. 10.
The next NAIA Women’s Volleyball ARC and NSC polls are scheduled to be released Wednesday, Oct. 21.
