HELENA, Mont. — The Frontier Conference announced its sixth installment of the 2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week, recognizing standout performances from Rocky Mountain (Mont.), Dickinson State (N.D.) and Carroll (Mont.).

Offensive Player of the Week
Javonte King, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)

Wide Receiver I Junior I Blackfoot, Idaho

King delivered a breakout performance in Rocky Mountain's (Mont.) 31-24 victory over Valley City State (N.D.) in the Frontier East Division opener.

King hauled in nine receptions for 130 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 14.4 yards per catch. His biggest reception came in the closing moments as he caught the game-winning 5-yard touchdown with less than 20 seconds remaining.

King also recorded a pair of receptions of at least 40 yards and more than doubled his season receiving-yardage total during the victory.

This is King’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defensive Player of the Week
Ryan Racht, Dickinson State (N.D.)

Defensive Back I Junior I Townsend, Mont.

Racht provided a game-changing defensive performance as Dickinson State (N.D.) defeated Mayville State (N.D.) 28-6 in the Frontier East Division opener.

He returned an interception 74 yards for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to seal the Blue Hawks' victory. He also recovered a fumble, registered a pass breakup and finished with three tackles.

The victory marked the 100th career win for Dickinson State head coach Pete Stanton.

This is Racht’s first career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Eddie Ballanco, Carroll (Mont.)

Kicker I Freshman I Bozeman, Mont.

Ballanco turned in a perfect kicking performance during No. 13 ranked Carroll's (Mont.) 73-0 victory over Arizona Christian in the Frontier West Division opener.

Ballanco connected on all 10 of his point-after attempts and made his lone field-goal attempt, drilling a career-long 48-yarder. His previous career best was 37 yards.

He accounted for 13 points in the Saints' victory, finishing 10-for-10 on PATs and 1-for-1 on field goals.

This is Ballanco’s first career Erck hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
