KANSAS CITY, Mo. – College of Idaho rose five spots in the 2025 Netting Professionals NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Postseason Poll after advancing to the national semifinals. The Yotes made the biggest jump within the Top 10, the national postseason poll was announced Monday by the national office.
CI finished the season with an overall record of 11-2 and 395 points to the national poll. The Yotes defeated Morningside (Iowa) in the second round, Montana Tech in the quarterfinals round and fell to eventual national runner-up and No. 2 ranked Keiser (Fla.) in the second round. College of Idaho secured the Frontier West Division champion with an undefeated 6-0 record.
The Orediggers dropped from No. 4 to No. 5 in the postseason poll, despite falling to College of Idaho at home in the national quarterfinals round. Montana Tech finished their season with an impressive 12-1 overall record, earning 373 points to the poll. MT, who won the Frontier East Division crown, earned a postseason victory over Frontier West’s opponent Carroll (Mont.) in the NAIA’s second round.
The Fighting Saints remained at No. 13 in the postseason poll with an overall record of 9-3 and received 273 points. CC defeated No. 17 seed St. Thomas (Fla.) in the NAIA’s opening round before falling to Montana Tech on the road in the second round.
Montana Western and Dakota State (S.D.) each fell one spot in the NAIA postseason poll. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 18 with 7-3 overall record and 195 points, while the Trojans are No. 25 with 8-2 overall record and 106 points.
