HELENA, Mont. – Tabor Teel of Dakota State (S.D.) earned both offense and defense weekly honors, the second edition of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball weekly awards were announced Tuesday.
Offense and Defense Player of the Week: Tabor Teel, Dakota State (S.D.)
Teel, a senior forward from Colton, S.D., was selected as the Offense and Defense Player of the Week honors.
She kicked off No. 4 ranked Dakota State’s (S.D.) season by going 3-0 record for the week, including a 2-0 record in the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote Classic. She averaged double-doubles of 21.3 points and 11.3 rebounds per game.
Teel shot a blazing 60.9 percent from the field for the week, hitting 28 baskets in 46 attempts. She also averaged 4.3 assists per game for the Trojans, who averaged 85.7 points per game.
Teel also excelled on the defense’s side of the ball for Dakota State, collecting six blocks, stealing the ball seven times and grabbing 27 defensive rebounds. She averaged 9.0 defensive rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game.
This is Teel’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
