HELENA, Mont. – Montana Tech, Southern Oregon, and Rocky Mountain (Mont.) were listed on the final edition (12
th edition) of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Jarrett Wilson, Montana Tech
Wilson, a sophomore quarterback from Polson, Mont., is the Offensive Player of the Week.
He was nearly perfect in his passing game as the current No. 3 ranked Montana Tech shut down Valley City State (N.D.) 41-0 to complete their undefeated regular season record for the first time since 1904.
Wilson completed 24 of 26 passes for 286 yards and threw four touchdowns. He also ran five times for 24 yards.
He leads the NAIA in completion percentage (76.5 percent) and pass efficiency (203.4).
This is Wilson’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week: Spencer Kuffel, Southern Oregon
Kuffel, a junior defensive back from Tigard, Ore., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
He recorded his 10
th career interception, forced one fumble, and recovered two in his final outing at Southern Oregon, despite falling short 24-21 at current No. 9 ranked College of Idaho.
Kuffel helped the Raiders hold the Yotes without an offensive touchdown until the fourth quarter. He finished the game with eight tackles (4 solos, 4 assists).
This is Kuffel’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Austin Drake, Rocky Mountain (Mont.)
Drake, a senior kicker from Hamilton, Mont., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
He was perfect on his kicking game in Rocky Mountain’s 29-27 thrilling victory over Mayville State (N.D.). He went 3-for-3 on his field goals and 2-for-2 on his PAT extra-point kicks.
His final field goal was the game-winner with just a second remaining from 24 yards out for the Battlin’ Bears.
This is Drake’s third career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
