Frontier Announces Academic All-Conference Awards for Winter Sports

HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announces that 175 student-athletes from the four conference winter sports have been named Academic All-Conference presented by Logan Health and Billings Clinic.

The athletes compete in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s indoor track & field, and women’s indoor track & field.

“Billings Clinic-Logan Health is pleased to extend support to student-athletes from the Frontier Conference, and we congratulate those who have achieved Academic All-Conference status,” said Joe McClafferty, president of the Logan Health Foundation. “We understand the demanding balance between sports and academics for these students and we’re excited to see how these exceptional leaders make the world a better place.”

All six conference schools were represented among the honored student-athletes. Women’s basketball had 57 earn the honor to lead the four winter sports with women’s indoor earning 46. On the men’s side, indoor track had 41 recognized with 31 coming from basketball.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and carry a minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA.
