HELENA, Mont. – Carroll and Montana Western were listed on the ninth edition of the 2024-25 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Players-of-the-Week.  The weekly honors were announced Monday.

Offense of the Week: Willa Albrecht, Carroll Albrecht, a senior guard from Billings, Mont., was selected as the Offense Player of the Week honor.

She was outstanding in Carroll’s lone game of the week, cruising past Alberta-Augustana 94-47.  She led all scorers with 21 points on her 63 percent field goal shooting (7-of-11 field goals).  Albrecht hit all six free throw attempts.

She pulled down two offensive rebounds and registered an assist in the game. 

This is Albrecht’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Defense of the Week: Maddy Moy, Montana Western Moy, a sophomore guard from Kalispell, Mont., was selected as the Defense Player of the Week honors

She led the Bulldogs with an impressive six steals and seven defensive rebounds, propelling to an 87-34 home victory over Keyano College.  She also registered a block in the game.

This is Moy’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
