HELENA, Mont. – Eastern Oregon swept the tenth edition of the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players-of-the-Week awards Monday.
Offensive Player of the Week: Quincy Glasper, Eastern Oregon
Glasper, a senior quarterback from Stockton, Calif., is the Offensive Player of the Week.
Glasper ran 18 times for 203 yards (11.3 yards per rush) in helping the Mountaineers to their 30-24 home upset victory over 24
th ranked College of Idaho. He rushed for a 91-yard touchdown in the first half.
He also threw for two touchdowns, including a 70-yard touchdown pass for EOU. He finished the game with 143 passing yards.
This is Glasper’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week: Blaine Shaw, Eastern Oregon
Shaw, a senior defensive back from La Grande, Ore., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
Shaw stifled the 24th ranked Yotes’ offense with 19 total tackles and two tackles-for-loss in Eastern Oregon’s 30-24 home victory.
He also recovered two fumbles, one of which sealed the game with less than a minute remaining.
This is Shaw’s second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Tanner Shattuck, Eastern Oregon
Shattuck, a senior kicker from Bainbridge Island, Wash., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Shattuck’s field goals proved to be the difference in EOU’s 30-24 home victory over 24
th ranked College of Idaho. He was perfect 3-for-3 on kicks in the game.
With the game tied at 24-24 heading in the fourth quarter, Shattuck hit a pair of 39-yard field goals to give the Mountaineers a six-point win. His punts also pinned the Yotes twice inside their own 20-yard line, one resting at the COI’s two-yard line.
This is Shattuck’s first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
