The Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week for action over the weekend are Blake Thelen and Ryan Lowry from Montana Tech and Jason Grant of Eastern Oregon.

Thelen was awarded the Offensive Player of the Week honor after guiding the Orediggers to a 44-35 win over No. 7 College of Idaho. He passed for a career-high 366 yards by completing 18 of 28 passes for a 64.4 completion percentage. Thelen added a pair of touchdowns with an efficiency rating of 197.7 in the game.

Grant was named the Defensive Player of the Week after EOU held Rocky Mountain to its season-low for points. He totaled 15 tackles, including 10 solo stops, and had one tackle-for-loss. Grant also recorded an interception and returned it 18 yards.

Lowry picked up the Special Teams Player of the Week award with 14 points in Tech’s win over the Yotes. He made field goals from 23, 28, and 36 yards while also converting all five of his PAT chances.
