An exciting weekend of football around the Frontier Conference led to Jack Prka from Carroll, Cameron Tibbetts of Arizona Christian, and John Mears of Montana Western earning the week four Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Football Athletes of the Week.

Prka is the Offensive Player of the Week after leading Carroll back from 20 points down in the fourth quarter for a 21-20 win at Rocky Mountain. He threw for a program record 407 yards and two touchdowns while completing 28 of 45 attempts. 

Tibbetts earned the Defensive Player of the Week behind an ACU-record 17 tackles as the Firestorm won their first Frontier Conference game over MSU-Northern. Tibbetts anchored the defense that held the Lights to 3.9 yards per play.

Mears was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week following Montana Western’s 49-13 win over Lewis and Clark (Ore.). He finished with seven points after converting all seven of his PAT chances.
