Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament Seeding Set

TOURNAMENT CENTRAL

HELENA, Mont. – With the completion of the regular season, the seeding and schedule for the 2023 Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament, presented by First Interstate Bank, has been determined. The University of Providence will host the two-day event at the McLaughlin Center Gymnasium in Great Falls, Mont., on November 10-11.

Montana Tech won the regular season title and earned the No. 1 seed for the tournament with an 8-2 record in conference play. The Orediggers will receive a bye into the semifinals where they will begin play on Friday at 5 p.m.

Providence is the No. 2 seed after completing conference play with a 7-3 record. The Argos also receive a bye into the semifinals where they will play their first match at 7 p.m. on Friday night.

Montana Western and MSU-Northern will open the tournament with a first round match on Friday at 11 a.m. UMW is the No. 4 seed after posting a 5-5 record during the conference season. MSUN went 4-6 in Frontier matches to secure the No. 5 seed. Western won both of the meetings with the Skylights during the regular season.

Rocky Mountain is the tournament’s No. 3 seed with its 6-4 mark in league action. The Battlin’ Bears will open against No. 6 seed Carroll on Friday at 1 p.m. The Saints finished 0-10 in conference play. 

The 2023 Frontier Conference Volleyball Tournament will crown a champion on a Saturday when the winners of the two semifinals will meet at 2 p.m.
