PHOENIX -- Rocky Mountain cruised to an 80-point (103-23) victory over SAGU American Indian College on Saturday for their third victory of the season.
After a tough shooting night and turnovers hurt the Battlin' Bears in Friday's game, Rocky turned themselves around, shooting over 50% from the field, 40% from three point range, and only turned the ball over five times in their win. The Battlin' Bears held SAGU to only 13 points in the first half and 10 points in the second half on their way to a lopsided victory.
The Battlin' Bears had six players score double figures, with every suited up Battlin' Bear finishing with two or more made baskets, while turning SAGU over 27 times and holding them to just 20% shooting from the field.
