Southern Oregon RB (Offense) Avery McCuaig, Montana Western LB Kameron Rauser (Defense), and Rocky Mountain P/LB Wyatt Brusven (Sepcial Teams) are the Erck Hotels Football Players of the Week for Week 7. This is the second award of the season for Brusven and the first for McCuaig and Rauser.

McCuaig helped SOU to its first conference win of the season with a career-high 132 rushing yards on 18 carries. He rushed for three touchdowns – all in the first half – to move him into a tie for the Frontier lead with eight on the season. McCuaig averaged 7.3 yards per carry with a long run of 41 yards.

Rauser made five tackles (four solo) and had two pass breakups as UMW upset Montana Tech in Butte. His key play was a 43-yard fumble return for a touchdown – the first for the Bulldogs since 2019 – midway through the first quarter.

Brusven punted eight times for an average of 33.5 yards against SOU. He had a long of 40 yards with three inside the 20 and one fair catch. On two kickoffs, one went for a touchback. Brusven also made seven tackles, recovered a fumble, and had an interception.
