HELENA, Mont. – Andy Peters from College of Idaho (Offense), Cole Wyant of Montana Tech (Defense) and Eli Nourse from Montana Western (Special Teams) are this week’s Erck Hotels Football Players of the Week. This is the fourth weekly award of the season for Peters and the first for both Wyant and Nourse.

Peters moved into sole possession of the C of I single-season touchdown mark with a career-high and record-setting five touchdown passes in the 42-38 win over Eastern Oregon. He completed 16 of 25 passes for 219 yards and five touchdowns. He also had 14 carries for 101 yards for his third 100-yard games on the season.

Wyant was all over the field in Tech’s 40-31 win over Arizona Christian. The linebacker made 18 tackles for his fifth 10-plus tackle game of the season. Wyant added one sack for 13 yards of loss.

Nourse returned four punts for an average of 24.3 yards per return. That includes taking one 60 yards for a touchdown. Nourse also had 11 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown as Western defeated MSU-Northern 44-0.
