WHITEFISH, Mont. - At the Frontier Conference's mid-year virtual meetings, the Council of Presidents decided to continue the league's no-spectator rule for the foreseeable future.

In the original conference's COVID Return to Play protocol, it was hoped to allow spectators to attend conference events beginning in January.

The first Frontier Conference basketball games of the 2020-21 season will be played this weekend. The Montana Western Bulldogs host the Montana Tech Orediggers in women's conference basketball Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13.

Tipoff for both games is 2 p.m. in the Straugh Gymnasium.
